The Pterons are pterodactyl-like humanoids that reside in the city of Pteros located in the Pangea region of the Savage Land. They are one of the various Beast-Men races, created by the ancient Atlanteans, that inhabit various parts of the Savage Land. They, like all the Beast-Men, were created using technology left behind by the Nuwali. The race is a long-time enemy of the Aerians, another winged Beast-Men race.[2]
