The Golden People are a race of humanoids with yellow skin that live in the Savage Land. They are descendants of the underground race called the Gortokians that originally hail from Subterranea. They use technology salvaged from the Atlanteans. They are longtime allies of Ka-Zar. The alien Quor arrived in the Savage Land and ordered the Reptile Men to drive the Golden People from their land so he could claim the stores of Anti-Metal that is kept there.
