Beel was the leader of the Karem Tribe who lived in the Savage Land. When the Motyka Bone was uncovered after an explosion at the anti-metal mine. Beel recognized the bone from Karem scriptures and observed the various occurrences of others handling it and subsequently vanishing.[1] He eventually attempted to reverse the enchantment of the bone and thought he succeeded when numerous Karem people began reappearing, including his father Schoed despite it actually being the actions of Schoed and Ka-Zar that triggered their return.[2]
