the other protagonist outside of Santa, he's a guy who's just there to go and basically hangout with his GF and family on Christmas but ultimately gets wrapped up in Santa and Krampus's conflict also he's kind of intentionally bland and somewhat vanilla as he's just there to be the audience surrogate to everything around him
