Glen Thomas Powell Jr. (born October 21, 1988) is an American actor. He began his career with minor roles on television and in films such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003) and Fast Food Nation (2006). Powell acted in the action film The Expendables 3 (2014), the comedy-horror series Scream Queens (2015–2016), the teen comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), the historical romance The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018), and the romantic comedy Set It Up (2018). He also portrayed astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures (2016) and aviator Tom Hudner in Devotion (2022). Powell became famous for starring in the action film Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and the romantic comedy Anyone but You (2023). He has since starred in the dark comedy Hit Man(2023), which he also co-wrote and produced, and in the disaster film Twisters (2024). It takes place after the surprise epilogue of the movie Sinners. Sammy is now a world famous blues artist. And at each of his gigs he is visited by Stack and Mary who are the only remaining vampires from that faithful night. Their lives were spared as long as they promised to not heard Sammy and surprisingly, even though they gave in to their evil side, they kept their word. But when they're not visiting Sammy they go out into the night terrorizing unsuspecting victims either sucking their blood dry or turning them into vampires. The heroine of the story will be Sammy's granddaughter, Alicia, a loner in an estranged relationship with her parents who is not into blues music but loves reading vampire stories. Sammy must help Alicia defend herself against Stack and Mary before they make her one of their own. But to make things worse there's a new vampire overlord who is plotting to create his own vampire cult to rule the world. Maybe in the end, Stack and Mary will realize that there is still good in them, and then they sacrifice themselves to help Alicia and Sammy defeat the overall vampire overlord.
