Mark Bogatyrev (born December 22, 1984) is a prominent Russian film and theater actor who rose to national stardom as the charming and ambitious young chef Maxim "Max" Lavrov in the hit sitcom Kitchen (2012–2016). A graduate of the Moscow Art Theatre School (class of Igor Zolotovitsky), he spent several years as a member of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre troupe before transitioning fully into a prolific screen career. Beyond his breakout role, he has starred in a wide array of projects, including the historical drama Catherine the Great (2015), the comedy series Roots (Korni), and the action-drama Emergency Landing (Na solntse, vdol ryadov kukuruzy, 2023).
