Olga Drozdova was born on April 1, 1965, in Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, Russia.
She is a highly acclaimed Russian theater and film actress, director, and teacher who was named a People's Artist of the Russian Federation in 2015. After graduating from the M.S. Shchepkin Higher Theatre School in 1989, she joined the famous Sovremennik Theatre in Moscow, where she performed lead roles in classic productions such as The Cherry Orchard, Three Sisters, and Three Comrades. She became a household name through her film and television work, most notably starring as Katya in the cult crime drama Bandit Petersburg (2000) and Charlotte de Sauve in Queen Margot (1996).
