Jamie Madrox's scarred, hooded partner. Mask's power is subtle but crucial: he can change other people's faces. Hidden under a hoodie for most of the film, Mask is a quiet, wounded presence — a young man who has been hurt and now hides. In the final act, he touches Jamie's face, transforming him into Nathaniel Essex. The duplicates that follow — an army of 150 Gambits — are only possible because of Mask's gift. He speaks little, emotes less, and disappears into the background. But without him, the heist fails. Mask is the invisible man who made the miracle possible.
