Henri's younger brother and the emotional anchor of the Lebeau family. Charlie is softer than Henri, kinder, more thoughtful — the one who cradles Luke's body and weeps. He blames Gambit too, but his disappointment comes from love, not jealousy. When the feud with the Boudreauxs escalates, Charlie makes the hardest choice: he packs his kids into the car and drives away. "Maybe that's why we all dead," he tells Henri. His departure is the film's most heartbreaking moment — but his eventual return signals the family's rebirth. Charlie is the heart the Lebeaus cannot afford to lose.
