Stevie Howie (born March 16, 1999) is a rising American artist, musician, singer, guitarist and song-writer. Howie was born in Nashville, but currently residing in the city of angels (LA). Started his music journey at the very early age of 5, where he took his first steps in learning piano and did’t take more than a year before Stevie started writing his own music at the age of 6. Despite his classical music background, as he grew up, Stevie became more and more influenced from rock, R&B, blues and pop artists such as Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer and Paramore. Eventually after a huge response to a “Smells like teen spirit” cover that he received on his socials, (more that 1 million views and 25.000 followers on TikTok) he decided to lean more into his own intuition as an artist and released his first single “shakes” on December 3, 2021. After many requests, he finished the song, releasing a full-length version to streaming platforms on October 29, 2021. Coincidentally, this was the first time that Stevie had decided to fully lean into his intuition as an artist. As the inception of his artist project, (for which he writes, records, produces, mixes, and masters by himself), his first single, “shakes,” was released on December 3, 2021. His highly anticipated second single, “stalker,” was released on March 2, 2022. Following the release of his newest single “crusader,” he projects a sizzling sound that will certainly intrigue your attention. Starting with exhilarating instrumentation leading onto his bright and ear-catching vocals he captures the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about how belief is one of his very favorite things about life, but it is incredibly dangerous. He thinks that the worst thing of all is when well-intentioned people choose to believe before understanding and nowhere does that happen more than religion. He wrote this song because he’s tired of ignorant bliss, he’s tired of hatred, and he’s tired of people justifying stupidity with religion. To the vocals and production, this track will surely have you jamming out. It would be just great for a late-night drive or hanging out with some friends.
