Romi Hauntley is a vampire-hunting teenage princess who lives with her parents and two brothers in a vampire-like Transiland. She wants to live in a human city, but her overprotective father stops her from doing so, as humans and vampires are enemies. She doesn't care, however, and befriends two human teenagers, Stella Brooks and Briar Peters, and other classmates who continue to protect her. However, the local bully, Chad, and the snobbish cheerleader, Lena, don't realize that she is a vampire in human disguise, and Romi and her friends must keep their vampire form hidden. But Romi faces his enemies.
