2018, New York City. Finn “Romeo” Montague is the heir to the throne of one of New York’s most wealthy and successful families. After an accident, he is entrusted by his family to be in charge of the construction of a new theatre. It’s here that he has a chance encounter with Julio Cruz, a street artist and activist from the Bronx. Julio is also part of the Capulet gang, a group comprised of people willing to fight back the gentrification of their area, and the theatre that Romeo is supervising is being built on top of a mom and pop store that Julio was in charge of. The two become quick enemies, but as they spend more time together, they find that they have more in common than they thought. And Romeo just might be falling in love with the one person he should despise. A Shakespearean tragedy about class issues, racism, and the love between a prince and a pauper.
