Fan Casting William IV, Count of Ponthieu in Robin Hood and the House of Plantagenet (TV-Series)

A very young, inexperienced lord thrust into the highest levels of Capetian intrigue before he has even mastered his own lands. As a strategic vassal on the Norman border, William is a soft-edged youth in a court of wolves, easily dazzled by the proximity to royalty. He finds himself particularly susceptible to the influence of Alys of France, who leverages his inexperience and his attraction to her to manipulate his actions.
