Alexander "Alex" Proyas (born 23 September 1963) is an Australian filmmaker. He is best known for directing the films The Crow (1994), Dark City (1998), I, Robot (2004), Knowing (2009), and Gods of Egypt (2016).
J’onn J’onzz, a Martian in disguise as an inspector for the Middleton Police, finds himself amidst a series of bizarre murders that he investigates both as the Martian Manhunter and as John Jones, only to discover that these heinous acts are not of this world and may be intricately linked to his own mysterious past.
