Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. He gained worldwide recognition for portraying Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films, from Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) to Avengers: Endgame (2019). His work in the franchise established him as one of the world's highest-paid actors. Evans's films as a leading actor, particularly in the franchise have grossed $11.4 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing film stars of all time. He began his career with roles in television series such as Opposite Sex in 2000. Following appearances in several teen films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie, he gained further attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels: TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and Snowpiercer (2013). Aside from comic book roles, Evans has starred in the drama Gifted (2017), the mystery film Knives Out (2019), the television miniseries Defending Jacob (2020), and the action films The Gray Man (2022) and Red One (2024). He also voiced Buzz Lightyear in Lightyear (2022), and Lucas Lee in the animated series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (2023), reprising his live-action role. His mother was the artistic director at the Concord Youth Theater. He has three siblings: two sisters named Shanna and Carly and brother Scott Evans. He dated actresses Jessica Biel, Lily Collins and Jenny Slate. He started dating Alba Baptista towards the end of 2021. The couple tied the knot in September 2023 and welcomed their first child together in October 2025.

When one villain decides to take away the joy of life from children all over the world, a group of superheroes come together to try to stop him. Its members are truly legendary. They accompany each of us since childhood, but no one has probably thought that those who give children joy can also give blows. Their boss is Santa. Not only does he have elves, but also a bunch of snowmen. His fragile counterpart is the Tooth Fairy with her army of mini-fairies. The party is then completed by the Easter Bunny and the silent Sandman.
