Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), a night guard at a local diner finds himself troubled after confronting the truth about the animatronic costumes that reside: they aren't just robots. They are alive. A young girl begins to find out her Hello Kitty toys are alive. After attempting to tell her parents, the toys force her into compliance… The rest of the film follows the girl, Jamie, as she tries to inform her parents what’s going on.
