Derek Mears (born April 29, 1972) is an American actor and stuntman, best known for his role as Jason Voorhees in the reboot of Friday the 13th.
A woman and a detective arrive in a small isolated town only to discover a disturbing fact about the locals. A mysterious curse is plaguing the town as soon as the pair arrive, which causes the locals to be trapped in a limbo state reliving their worst trauma over and over again.
