Fan Casting Sinestro in Return to the DC Universe

Once seen as possibly the greatest Green Lantern of his era, Thaal Sinestro let fear and his ego get the better of him, making him conquer his planet of Korugar and becoming a tyrant. Defeated by Hal Jordan, his former apprentice, Sinestro was banished to Qward, the anti-matter universe, where the Weaponeers gifted him with a ring fueled by the power of fear, which he would use for his vengeance against the Guardians as well as the Green Lantern Corps, as well as forming the Sinestro Corps, made of other Yellow Lanterns like himself to spread fear across the universe.
