Fan Casting Hippolyta of Themyscria in Return to the DC Universe

The Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta has helped her people to be able to establish their home on Themyscria, as well as leading them in difficult scenarios such as being enslaved by Hercules. At a time when Diana had died and ascended to the Pantheon, Hippolyta retook on her previous role as Wonder Woman as penance for her role in that act, establishing herself with the JLA and the JSA, before her own death. Eventually resurrected by Circe, Hippolyta once again has been trying to seek redemption, not just as Queen of the Amazons, but sharing the Wonder Woman role with Diana.
