Fan Casting Dream of the Endless in Return to the DC Universe

The son of Hector Hall and his wife Lyta, the grandson to Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Daniel has had an unusual life. Born in the Dreaming, Daniel was chosen by Morpheus, the previous Dream, to take his place, eventually succeeding that role when his parents unintentionally sided with the Furies to kill Morpheus. Though he is among the Endless now, Daniel lives up to his role as the shaper of dreams in the Dreaming, as well as protecting those close to him as best he can, such as when he saved his parents' souls before the second Crisis, showing some of his humanity is still within his new perspective.
