"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" follows Ethan Winters, an ordinary man searching for his missing wife, Mia, who has been presumed dead for three years. Ethan receives a mysterious message from Mia, leading him to a derelict plantation in rural Louisiana, home to the twisted Baker family. Upon arrival, Ethan is plunged into a nightmarish ordeal as he discovers that Mia and the Bakers have been infected by a mold-like substance that grants them regenerative abilities and mind control, turning them into violent, seemingly immortal beings. As Ethan fights for survival, he uncovers the horrific truth behind the source of the infection: a bioweapon experiment involving a girl named Eveline, whose abilities to control minds have driven the Bakers insane. As Ethan confronts the Bakers and struggles to rescue Mia, he is assisted by an unknown operative, later revealed to be Chris Redfield. Throughout the ordeal, Ethan battles grotesque monsters and experiences psychological terror, all while trying to understand the dark conspiracy surrounding the bioweapon Eveline. In the climax, Ethan faces off against Eveline, destroying her with the help of Chris and the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance). The story ends with Ethan and Mia's escape, leaving the mystery of future bioweapon threats looming in the background.
