She helped repair the rail vehicle to use it as a safe escape route. As they travelled to St. Michael's Clock Tower, Nemesis attacked the tram. After making it out of the wreckage, Valentine was poisoned by the monster and Carlos rushed a wounded Jill in his arms to safety in a chapel within the Clock Tower and laid her on the alter, while he searched for a vaccine.
