Fan Casting Hazel Hill in Remake of The Haunting of Hill House

Hazel Hill lived at Hill House, and at one point was very ill while living in the home. Her bedroom was directly above the kitchen, in which an old fashioned tube/mouthpiece was installed in order for her to speak with staff below. Clara and Horace Dudley worked on the property, and bought the cottage off the grounds. Horace Dudley’s mother worked at hill house in the kitchens, and his wife Clara Dudley cared for Hazel during her illness, sometimes working double and triple shifts. Theo senses that Hazel’s bed was a “sick bed” while sitting on it, and Luke sees Hazel’s ghost in a reflection of the brass megaphone.
