Monstro is the final antagonist of the 2022 Disney+ live-action film Pinocchio, a remake of the 1940 traditionally animated classic film of the same name. He is an immense and ferocious sea monster who devours anything that crosses his path. At some point after Pinocchio escapes from the Coachman's Pleasure Island, Monstro swallows his adoptive father Gepetto, leading Pinocchio to go to rescue Gepetto despite the odds of saving his father from Monstro. He is also based off his original incarnation of the same name. However, unlike the original Monstro, the remake version of Monstro now has a more sea monster-hybrid look to him, with tentacles and large fins on top of his head.
