After a year of being on his own since the breakup of his band, Stuart “2-D” Pot is kidnapped by his old band mate, Murdoc Niccals, and is taken to a small remote island known as Plastic Beach, being forced to record brand new songs. As Noodle and Russel, two other ex-band members, venture off to stop Murdoc, the four musicians slowly recall their band days and what led to them breaking up.
