He comes back to life after Lois removes the dagger from his abdomen. While in the past Superman is resurrected to stop Hank Henshaw and Mongul, in this episode Clark has to face an aging clone of Lex. Clark Kent's body is exhumed and placed in the waters of the Kryptonian ship, and Allen provides a strong blast of energy to activate the Box and resurrect Superman. and he will always be the greatest superhero of all time
