The series follows five monster girls—Holly WitchCharmers, Diana Frankenstein, Megan Summers, Jessie Catters, and Mira Nakamura—who arrive from distant lands to study sorcery on the mysterious Monster Island (Wonder Monster). They are joined by two boys who end up there by chance, after their school building comes to life. Together, the group embarks on adventures, uncovers secrets, and learns magic from a great sorcerer known as "The Immortal." Despite her surname, Trixie Charming is an ordinary teenager, just as fascinated by magic as she is by sorcery. Everything changes when she discovers a magic key that unlocks a new world—one in which Monster Island comes to life.
