Known for their bold fashion choices, signature long tresses, and striking features, they are the targets of a relentless "Anti-Glam Squad."
The show follows the "A-Listers" as they navigate red carpets and poolside galas in their signature strapless minis and designer swimwear, while the "Traditionalists"—a group of vocal, conservative critics who prefer modest attire and natural styling—clash with them at every industry event. The series explores themes of colorism, "pretty privilege," and the deep-seated tensions regarding how a Black woman "should" present herself to the world.
