The story follows Arthur Morgan, a senior member of the Van der Linde gang, as the age of outlaws comes to an end. On the run from the law after a failed robbery, the gang struggles to survive while internal conflicts, loyalty, and changing times threaten to tear them apart. Arthur is forced to confront his past choices, morality, and what kind of legacy he will leave behind.
Years later, the story centers on John Marston, a former outlaw trying to live a quiet life. He is coerced by the government into hunting down the remaining members of his old gang in exchange for his family’s freedom.
