The year is 1899. Amidst the end of the era of the Wild West and Gunslingers as America becomes a land of civility and law, the Van der Linde gang, one of the last gang of outlaws left, are on the run from the law after a heist goes terribly wrong. As the gang's leader, the silver-tongued Dutch Van der Linde, continues to make plans to make more money and get out and live the free lives they've always wanted, Dutch's right-hand man Arthur Morgan begins to not only question his mentor's choices, but also begin to question his standing in life and what purpose he truly serves in this new world that doesn't want his kind anymore.
