Set in 1899, Red Dead Redemption 2 follows Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they struggle to survive in a rapidly changing American frontier. After a failed robbery forces the gang into hiding, Arthur must balance his loyalty to Dutch van der Linde with his growing doubts about the gang's future. As lawmen, bounty hunters, and rival gangs close in, their way of life begins to collapse.
