Eirin was one of the 88 Primordial Gods, the wife of the Primordial Inventor God Gǫllnir, and known as the "Great Goddess of Light". Alongside 75 other Primordial Gods, they rose against Yggdrasil and its allies in a plan to exterminate the gods, an act that ignited the Original Ragnarok. During this cataclysmic war, the Primordials clashed with the eleven gods known as the Godslayers. After the war, Eirin lost an arm while saving Gǫllnir. Later, when the surviving Primordials chose to erase the existence of the Original Ragnarok and conceal the truth from history, Eirin accepted their decision. She even bound Gǫllnir with chains of light, preventing him from opposing the erasure of this forbidden past.
