The leader of Mother Goose. Soft-spoken, levelheaded and cultured, with an appreciation for both Shakespeare and the eponymous nursery rhyme collection, he focuses his group's efforts primarily on interfering with the Thames Trading Company, the most powerful crime syndicate in London. As it turns out, he is driven by his desire to avenge the death of his mother, Anne, at the hands of his father, Arthur Gray, the company's true leader and the secret king of London's criminal underworld.
