Ace Attorney (逆転裁判 その『真実』、異議あり！ Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igiari!; lit. "Turnabout Trial: I Object to That "Truth"!") is an animated adaptation of Capcom's Ace Attorney video game series, first announced at the 2015 Tokyo Game Show during Capcom's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice stage presentation. The first season aired in 2016, adapting the first two games in the series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All.[1] The second season premiered on October 6, 2018,[2] with a story based on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations.[3] A "real escape" puzzle game called Reibai Mura Satsujin Jiken based on the first season ran in Japan from July 8 to August 11, 2016.
