PlayStation Series (PSS), also known as PlayStation 6, will rename the entire PlayStation Series (PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5) to "PSS" for both past and current games as well as home video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment will launch in 2027 to avoid confusion of PS6 for any gamers they play. The name PlayStation Series or PSS, combined with marketing, should convey the idea that the new system is not just a minor upgrade but a significant step forward in gaming technology and experience from the 1990s to present.
