It has been a year since the Battle of Endor. The Rebel Alliance has regrouped on Chandrila, with Mon Mothma working tirelessly to form what will soon become the New Republic. However, in the wake of her efforts, the Empire continues to wage war on the Republic; taking over star systems, stripping them of their resources, and, most importantly, their freedom.
Grand Admiral Rae Sloane, the new leader of the Galactic Empire, mobilizes the remaining admirals and officers to the planet Kuat. There, she begins preparations for the Emperor’s final plan: Operation Cinder. During her campaign, Sloane sends out spies, assassins, and saboteurs, allowing the Empire to strike from within and cripple the growing power of the Rebellion.
As a result, Mon Mothma sends her three most trusted confidants: Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo to investigate the pressing manner. The famed trio travels across numerous worlds, encountering dangerous smugglers, ruthless gangsters, and war-torn planets in search of the source behind these attacks. But as they draw closer to the truth, one question remains: do they truly want to know what’s waiting at the end?
