Katie looks after Shimmer, the magic pet kitten. Shimmer can change her size and take on any feline shape (once she turned into a tiger to protect a lost kitten). Katie's wand sends out sparkling, amber-colored magic. Katie is a bit cat-like herself. She's very neat and fussy, and when she's nearby she makes some human people sneeze! Katie is often found curled up fast asleep in a sunbeam.
