Niels Schneider (born 18 June 1987) is a Franco-Canadian actor. He gained early recognition for his roles in Xavier Dolan's acclaimed films I Killed My Mother (2009) and Heartbeats (2010), which earned him the Trophée Chopard for Male Revelation of the Year at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
In 2013, he starred in Yann Gonzalez's provocative surreal film You and the Night.
Schneider's performance in Dark Inclusion (2016) earned him the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2017.
He also starred in Of Money and Blood (2023) and appeared in Woody Allen's Coup de Chance (2023).
Inspired by the pirate radio revolution in England in 1960, the film tells the story of Edward, expelled from school and sent to spend time with his godfather Eddie, head of an underground radio station.
