Voice: Low-Medium register with a faint Midwestern dialect. A veteran captain with Atlantic and Pacific for years, McGovern has been dispatched by FAA regulations and A&P's operations to supervise Flight 713 as Captain Striker's check pilot for her to qualify for flying international routes. The next few years are going to see McGovern step back from being a regular pilot in order to spend more time with his wife Amber, their kids and grandchildren. He received his commission as a Naval Aviator in the late 80s and flew F/A-18s in the Persian Gulf War.
