Chiaki Kuriyama (born October 10, 1984) is a Japanese actress, singer and model. She is best known in the West for her roles in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, Volume 1, and the Japanese film Battle Royale.
Taking place between the End of Mortal Kombat 3 and the Begining of Mortal Kombat: Shinnoks Menace, this film documents Kitana's return to Edenia and her rise to becoming Queen.
