Tikhon Zhiznevsky was born on August 30, 1988, in Zelenogradsk, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia.
He is a prominent Russian theater and film actor who achieved massive breakout success in the early 2020s. A graduate of the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, he is a long-time member of the troupe at the Alexandrinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. He became a major star for his portrayal of Igor Grom in the Major Grom franchise (Major Grom: Plague Doctor and Major Grom: The Game), the first successful Russian superhero film series. He is also widely recognized for his roles in the psychological thriller series Topi (2021) and the disaster film Fire (2020).
