The town of Fairhaven takes Halloween seriously — especially with its annual Pumpkin Contest, where locals compete to grow the biggest, weirdest pumpkins for a huge cash prize. But this year, a new player is set to enter the game: Bobby "Bones" Malone, a charming but unlucky amateur thief with a heart of gold. Recently released from a low-security prison, Bobby needs quick cash to save his family home. And rumor has it, a giant pumpkin in Fairhaven’s town square is stuffed with a $100,000 cash prize for this year's Halloween contest. Joining Bobby is his estranged childhood friend and local costume shop owner, Mia Daniels, who is reluctantly roped in for her town knowledge and knack for problem-solving. As Bobby and Mia hatch a plan to “borrow” the pumpkin on Halloween night, they realize they aren’t the only ones with an eye on the prize. Local detective Tom "Scarecrow" Lewis, obsessed with Fairhaven's Halloween traditions, suspects something fishy and makes it his personal mission to keep the town’s festivities intact. Things get wild when Bobby and Mia’s plan is hijacked by a gang of incompetent, masked thieves led by a mysterious figure who wants the pumpkin cash for his own hilarious but villainous reasons. With time ticking and the town’s wildest party raging on, Bobby and Mia are forced to navigate a chaotic Halloween night, using their quick thinking, costumes, and a lot of trickery to stay one step ahead of Detective Scarecrow and the gang.
