Eastvale University: a colorful college campus that seems like a place of absolute wonder and fantasy. Only for Jay Johnson, it’s a reminder—of everything he’s not. With a father who was once the school’s star quarterback, Jay has spent his life falling short of expectations. But that’s fine. He’s not here to play—he’s here to write, documenting the team’s every move instead. Following his father's legacy his own way. Then there’s Christian Miller—the Tigers’ current starting quarterback, beloved by campus. He's got the charm, genetics, and pretty much everything from the outside looking in. But lately, it seems that world is crumbling from the inside. Christian's different. Distracted. Burnt out. The life that once felt seamless now feels like a script he’s struggling to follow. When their paths cross, one misunderstanding after another throws them into an unexpected collaboration that neither saw coming.
