As part of Goofy's transformation into a 1950s everyman known as George Geef (or Mr. Walker/Mr. Wheeler in the case of Motor Mania). His ears are absent, and his gloves are missing, revealing hands that are flesh-colored instead of black. This would be his overall design until No Smoking, when his ears and gloves are restored. In The Goofy Success Story, the absence of his ears is explained by showing that they're tied above his head and hidden under his hat.
