He is or was the ruler of Umbra until the majority of his people rebelled against him and the royal family. In turn, they killed his wife- Queen Alexis and exiled his kids Prince Ezek and Princess Rail. Feeling defeated after the war was won, he then stumbled upon the original Lord Zarkiar, Akio's journal on Umbra before he had disappeared. He donned one of Zarkiar's similar looking suits and continued his evil plan to conquer the multiverse as revenge for what his people had done to him.
