The Megopteran was a giant insectoid creature from the future, derived from Hymenoptera. It inhabited the same time and place as the Future Predators, and it would seem that the Predators and Megopterans were rivals in their world's ecosystem.
Set in Japan, the series follows a team of college students who has to deal with animals from past and future that travel through time to the present day through anomalies.
