Winston Duke (born 15 November 1986) is a Tobagonian actor. Duke was born in Tobago and moved to Brooklyn, New York, United States, at age nine. Duke began his career with minor roles in theatre productions and recurring roles on the CBS science fiction series Person of Interest (2014–2015) and the ABC sitcom Modern Family (2016). He rose to prominence after playing M'Baku in several films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (2018–2022), which is one of the highest-grossing media franchises. He has since appeared in the horror film Us (2019), the fantasy drama Nine Days (2020), and the action-comedy films Spenser Confidential (2020) and The Fall Guy (2024). In this new musical, after the events of "Transformers: The First Wave of Attack" (https://www.mycast.io/stories/transformers-the-first-wave-of-attack) and set between seasons 2 and 3 of "Tales of the Transformers" (https://www.mycast.io/stories/tales-of-the-transformers), the spirits of the Thirteen Primes tell the origin story of two Cybertronians: Optimus Prime and Megatron, to a group of Cybetronians named "The Earthbots", who were born on Earth and have just begun to understand their heritage, gathering in an ancient, cavernous chamber known as the Hall of the Primes, with the two Dynamic Duos of the Autobots (Bumblebee and Wheeljack, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe) lend their signature schtick, while the Autobots are busy on a perilous mission to secure Energon resources from a remote sector of Cybertron. The story follows the orphans Optimus and Megatron; the pair become as close as brothers in a forbidden friendship. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny, their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.
