The American mastodon was a large land mammal that roamed North America throughout the Ice Age until as recently as 13,000 years ago. Mastodons lived in pine forests and boggy areas covered by larch and spruce, feeding on twigs, leaves and water plants.
A sorta research story of mine featuring what I think the animals in that formation looked like, as well as what I think the environment of that formation looked like in life. This could also be a great guide for everyone. It's a work in progress, let me take my time on this... Also credits to all of the artists.
