Jessica Caroline Hoare, also known as Jessica Alexander, is an English actress. She began her career in short films and the Disney series Penny on M.A.R.S. (2018–2020). Alexander garnered recognition for her role in the BBC iPlayer series Get Even (2020), and made her feature film debut in Glasshouse and A Banquet (both 2021). She gained further prominence in Disney's live-action musical fantasy The Little Mermaid (2023) as Vanessa, Ursula's disguise.

The brutal competition exists to showcase the Elites’ powers—the very thing Paedyn lacks. If the Trials and the opponents within them don’t kill her, the prince she’s fighting feelings for certainly will if he discovers what she is—completely Ordinary.
