William James "Willem" Dafoe (born July 22, 1955) is an American actor. Known for his prolific career portraying diverse roles in both mainstream and arthouse films, he is the recipient of various accolades, including the Volpi Cup for Best Actor as well as nominations for four Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award, four Golden Globe Awards, four Critics' Choice Movie Awards, and five Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has frequently collaborated with filmmakers Paul Schrader, Abel Ferrara, Lars von Trier, Julian Schnabel, Wes Anderson, and Robert Eggers. Dafoe was a founding member of experimental theatre company The Wooster Group. He made his film debut with an uncredited role in Heaven's Gate (1980). Dafoe's early career includes credits for The Loveless (1982), Streets of Fire (1984), and To Live and Die in L.A. (1985). He earned his first Academy Award nomination for the war drama Platoon (1986), followed by nominations for his roles in Shadow of the Vampire (2000), The Florida Project (2017), and the Vincent van Gogh biopic At Eternity's Gate (2018). He also gained acclaim and wide recognition for his roles as Jesus Christ in The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and as the supervillain Norman Osborn in the superhero film Spider-Man (2002), a role he reprised in its sequels Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007), and the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). 1. Jason and Trini are in a relationship. They and their 3 friends find 5 gold coins. That night they are teleported to Zordon and Alpha 5. Here they are told about their nee powers and how it's up to them to save Earth from Rita and Goldar. The Rangers help Zordon defeat Rita and Goldar. In an end credits scene it's revealed that Rita asks Lord Zed for help and hints at bringing the Green Ranger in. 2. The Rangers face off against Rita, Goldar, Lord Zed and the Green Ranger. Tommy unsuccessfully tries to manipulate Kimberly and drive a wedge between the 5 friends. In the end battle the Megazord is destroyed in battle, while Jason and Tommy fight inside it. When Jason bests Tommy, Rita leaves him to save herself. Before the Megazord explodes Jason escapes thinking Tommy died inside. In the end credits scene Tommy is revealed to be alive and in hiding. 3. The Rangers are provided with new suits and zords following their destruction in the last film. Tommy battles his inner demons and plans to kill Rita. In the end battle, Zordon convinces the Rangers and Tommy to team up and fight together. Trini sacrifices herself by driving herself, Rita, Zed and Goldar through a portal and into an unknown world. A heartbroken Jason vows to find Trini at whatever cost and leaves. Zack grief stricken with the thought of Trini's death leaves the Rangers.
